Selfishness

I am sure everyone is selfish one way or another about many things...

But do you think that this issue is a good or a bad thing?

Well I believe that selfishness is not the right word to use:
It actually holds a bad connotation and actually points out at something vicious.
But i strongly believe that we should have a high sense of self esteem, or "selfishness" in a non-vicious way!=D

That is exactly what I've wanted to say...You can always "have interest in yourself" and still care for others...this is not called selfishness, and it isn't bad. But when you start thinking about no one else but you, ignore the people around you, even hurt your best friends, then that is called pure Selfishness.

I sometimes put my friends ahead of me bi kam shaghleh but sometimes yeah I am selfish when it comes to my future

When u get right down to it, everythin' we do or don't do could be considered an act of selfishness... When parents have children, they do so for selfish reasons... When a man or woman takes a lover, they do so for selfish reasons... When a person takes on a position of power, whether they be gd or bad leaders, they ultimately do so for selfish reasons... Even when we perform acts of charity for which we expect nuth in return, we do so to make ourselves feel better or to earn a badge of virtue, a selfish motive...

As I said, every act is an act of selfishness on some level n so is demandin' that others keep quiet about their troubled hearts or their troublesome opinions in the interest of keepin' the peace... SELFISHNESS... I AM SELFISH
