I hate when people just look at the number without analyzing them or even checking the details of the numbers.
FPM in Keserwen got in 2005, average 34,900 votes. In 2009, they got average 31,700. Which means they lost around 3,200 votes only. Let's say these 3,200 votes went the other side, this means that the average on their list would become something like 20,500. But their list got average 26,700 or so. So how did they get these additional 6,200 votes ?
Well, The percentage of participation in ****erwan this time was 70% ( highest in Lebanon) whereas last time it was 64%. So these are about 4,000 votes plus 2,000+ independents who probably felt like the dollars that was being paid in public was a once in a lifetime opportunity.
