It still is Lebanon, maybe not your family or your immediate surrounding, but I still hear of men divorcing their wives because they are not virgins, we still see educated women never getting married because they do not look very nice while ignorant barely high school graduates get married at 17 to doctors because they have a nice butt. And I was amazed to actually meet some university colleagues of mine(girls) that tells me her brother yells at her if he sees a picture of her on facebook(a tag or something)
