Help in Mandriva(linux)

I installed Linux Mandriva2007 on my PC, it rocks but i encountered one big problem, to connect thorough the internet on XP i need 2 set a username and password (cable connection PPOE).

i didn't know how & so am back to windows,
anyone who knows about this?

Into shell prompt >>> man pppoe [and read]
Or you could type pppoe and press TAB you'll get all available related commands. I'm sure you won't have a hard time finding how to set it up
