Basically, I use Kaspersky Internet Security & the matter of fact Iceberg, it works amazing but I just cant handle the fact leaving the Cookies undeleted... so each & every week, I shift + delete the hell of 'em

Undoutebly KIS has to have some good sides to be popular. Nevertheless, I say it sucks up too much CPU power (percentage, paging, vRAM, clusters, etc...).
There are other programs that can be used, that will give better protection/security, and will be much "lighter" on your systems.

i have been using KIS for a year.and its so light even on my Fu**in pc.
i can play games w/ or w/out KIS its the same (pes6=60 fps).
and KIS is powerful. unfortunately ICEBERG u don't like it bas its a fact.

First of all, I never said it would slow down anything. For common usage, it will not. I said there are "much lighter" applications to be used.
Second, the only way to protect shity windows XP (or whichever) is through tight *manual* policies and not *any* software. There is a conflict of interest here, you cannot say kaspersky or any other program will *protect* or *secure* your system.

I didn't say I had doubts about KIS, nor that I don't "like" it. It's simply that I prefer other means to secure myself on the internet.
