i've heard some news about " ontione ghanem " was preparing to a meeting between gemayel and GMA before his death . i dont know if this news are right but it was discussed ..

Didn't we hear the same thing from ahmad al safadi that was later on attacked by 14feb and warned them to stop that or else... :P?

To be honest with you, I think Amin Gemayel will remain the new president... its reasonable, wanna know y? cuz Berri said that he will agree on whoever BKERQI says, & its obvious that SFEIR ain't gonna mention GMA... Plus, these acts that Amin was doing and taking a side for himself without the need of 14, 8 march & the oppositions SIDES.. take a look at the Amin-GMA meeting, beddel 3ala 7esen niye, I am absolutely 110% sure, eno el tab5a jehze w 5alsa & that Amin will be the new president & you will see

PS: I dont like Amin, u know what he did during his time !!

It's not Sfeir or Berri who choose the new president. we (FPM'ers and General Aoun) are the only ones who have the right to choose the next president.and if General Aoun nominated someone else than him, then we will accept, other than this is unaccaptable, General Aoun is the only president who we will accept, welli mech 3ejbo yballet l ba7er.

man, u think Im happy if somebody else than GMA comes as the new president?? oh hell no!!, but i surely say that GMA will not be the future president cuz huwe zalame NDIF!!, imagine what he will do to the others ...

PS: my opinion here was this: the final president is ready & chosen & that chosen one will come.. but whom would it be, alla yse3id.. but based on the news, meetings & analyses... AMIN GEMAYEL is going to be the new president... (hope that I am wrong)

yes i would like it, because i trust that GMA won't nominate someone that may be harmfull for Lebanon, and if he nominated someone else than him it means he trust that person and he's the best for Lebanon or else he won't nominate anyone.

i didn't say u'll be happy, i was just saying that we (GMA's people) will not accept anyone else except if GMA nominated him. i personally don't care about Berri's or Bkerki's or anyone else opinion, because based on 2005 elections GMA is the only one who own the right to nominate the president (since he have more than 70% of the christians votes).

ان لقاء رئيس تكتّل التغيير والاصلاح العماد ميشال عون والرئيس الأعلى لحزب الكتائب أمين الجميل، كان خطوة اولى للقاء سيضم في وقت قريب كل من التيار الوطني الحر وحزب الطاشناق والنائب ميشال المر إضافة الى الجميل، تمهيدًا لاعادة المياه الى مجاريها أيضًا بين الكتائب والطاشناق.

Gemayel maybe he is being aware that without referring to General Aoun and christian allies , he is nowhere to be found in the political square. Did geagea gave him any comfort after losing? nooooo. did any of the 14 feb gang christians even mentioned his son or demanded anything related to the crime? akid no.

I really really wish that the Kataeb party will return to its golden era and patriotic line and quit these B****rds who don't stop sucking our blood in order for them to survive politically... but not for long time boys.

برز موقف للرئيس الأعلى لحزب الكتائب أمين الجميل، أمس، دعا فيه الى توسيع مروحة التشاور والحوار بين قيادات المعارضة والموالاة، وتحدث فيه صراحة حول وجوب اعتماد نصاب الثلثين وانتخاب رئيس للجمهورية بالاجماع وليس بالتوافق، وقال في حديثين لـ«المنار» و»نيو تي في» انه لا يتشبث بانتخاب رئيس من داخل قوى 14 آذار «شرط التزامه بالمبادئ السيادية وتحليه بالقدرة الشخصية»، وكشف عن سعي يقوم به لجمع الاقطاب الموارنة الاربعة لتحقيق المصالحة المسيحية.

واعتبر الجميل ان لا مجال للخلاص الا من خلال تطبيع العلاقات اللبنانية السورية وأن تكون علاقات ممتازة وأخوية وندية وتحترم خصوصية البلدين، مذكرا بالعلاقات الودية التي كانت تجمعه بالرئيس السوري الراحل حافظ الأسد، كما كشف عن قيام «أصدقاء مشتركين» له مع القيادة السورية بنقل أجواء حسن نية من حزب الكتائب الى المسؤولين السوريين. وأكد تواصله أيضا مع السفارة الايرانية في بيروت.
