hey i am confused i need to buy a new dvd writer but i dont know if i buy the 1 with the light scribe option or the secure disc (mak e the disc protected from copying) and wwhat make me confue plus is which 1 is the best quality LG or samsung or TEAC (please give me ur opinion abt this and the LG 1 but the teac dont contain any advanced option exept the double layer)

I have a duplicator machine switched to 10 dvd writers & a console, PIONEER DOUBLE LAYER DVDs, & working amazing.. u dont need to copy ur dvds using 20x speed lol cuz the dvds quality (the empty dvds) handle maximum speed 8x

concerning protection, there's no such thing called PERFECT Protection... imagine it like this:

you have the door of ur house, if u lock it with a key... it doesnt mean that a thief cannot enter inside the house... the more u secure it for e.g: adding a door of steel.. it can also be broken...

The bottom line here, what ever u protect a small software can unlock them

PS: I remember unlocking an original live dvd concert protected by LASER LOCK(the strongest company in Protection in the whole world)... a simple software, unlocked it lol...

u can get the unlock softwares using google:P

never ever ever ever ever even if they paied u do u get a cd/dvd/burning/writting/reading/humping/anything that has to do with cd's and dvd's that has a samsung written on it. Even if they payed 20$ to get it its still a loosing proposal.

no ur wrong! , i have a samsung cd-writer since 3 years and 7 months , nd after a heavy use , its still awesome , nd workin fine , my frnd bought an lg cd-writer 1 year ago , now hes gonna buy another one , its broken ,

but how many cds/dvds got errors while burning?
samsung sux big time, I had one & throw it in the GARBAGE!!!!

man Buy LG with lite scribe, its the best in markets, teac get away from it, its not like was before, get an LG

i tried samsung, LG , & Teac...
LG stopped burning DVDs after a month , an then stopped reading Cds
i'll vote for Teac

in the burning CDs DVDs system TEAC is the best or SONY i have a SONY double layer writer and lightscribe, honestly i never used the double layer or the lightscribe i just burn regular DVDs and CDs... Mostly the lightscribe works on some special CDs (or DVDs ) only not just any dvd or cd and their price is expensive in usa i don't know about lebanon it might be more expensive, and the same for double layer DVDs it's a waste of money, but u can get the TEAC it's a good brand ... LG and SAMSUNG SUX BIG TIME !!!! the worst 2 brands i've ever seen they get stuck sometimes they don't open they don't read the cd or the dvd too many problems, i had a samsung dvd reader back in the days when i was in lebaon it sucked big time i had to throw it in the trash and buy a TEAC CD Writer and DVD reader COMBO but that was 3 years ago..
