Yeah i read that book too a month ago, it is a very interesting novel writing by the author SM stirling..
I think that everyone must read this novel, where we can find lot of important thing such as how the whole world made technology useless among other things! I know its really hard if reality changed, if the gasoline and gunpowder stopped working sice we are modern ppl who cant live without electricity nor car! But in my opinion if smth like that happens, we have to live, as our grand-grand parents lived, wiz nothing, just a candle, a dunky to go everywhere hehe My favorite hint in this novel was: Quote:

that seems like my summer house I live in a far away town where there is no "ichtirak"and we have to rely on the goverment for power in short terms no electrecity, and believe me although I only spend 3 month there each year it seems like an eternity, you can't imagine how hard it is without electricity and therefore no internet and no PC especialy if your friends live far.modern people (like me
what would I do if that happenes perminatly? I guess there is not much to do but old fashion stuff I guess it's back to card playing and reading books for fun and using donkeys to get around(which we already should do due to the crazy prices of fuel) |
