Ismael Ends Bayern Hell To Join Hannover Bayern Munich’s forgotten man Valerien Ismael has agreed to join Hannover 96 during the Bundesliga's winter break.
The experienced central defender has seen his career come to a slow death after numerous long-term injuries robbed Munich of his services over the last couple of years.
However, this season the 32-year-old recovered from his latest setback, a broken leg in May 2006, but has not been able to regain his place in Bayern's star-studded squad.
After the Frenchman made his discontent over the situation public, it is believed Hannover 96 quickly approached Munich and received the green light to talk with Ismael.
Ismael is reported to have passed a medical on Wednesday and, according to Hannover 96’s sporting director, the formalities of the deal seem to be in place.
