well DAP has a problem with file sizes. if the file is bigger than 300mb or so , when the dl finishes the file is not built correctly and u lll end up with a corrupted file.
I use IDA (internet download accelerator), dled around 2GB files and they worked 100%

err i download 1 gb and 500mb files with dap and i never had any problem..

well it happened with me when i dled a 1GB file from DAP, i used to have a 5K/s dl speed and it took me days to dl it. when it was over the freakn thing told me the zip was corrupted. I was sure 100% the zip was gd from the source. so i would never use DAP for anyth :P

maybe while downloading nhabal chi ma7all sar corrupted.. one corrupted BYTE ruins a 1gb file
