Ram info

i have a 512mb 333 mhz ram ddr1 for a toshiba laptop
i added a 256mb 266 mhz it works
but is there any problem, cuz i thought it will not working
and does it affect on the speed

Try this

start->programs->accessories-system tools->system information

No there won't be any problem, the only thing is that your computer will work slower than if the ram was 333 MHZ, but also it's not a big difference and u won't recognize it.

there is no problem having both, each will work at it's specified clock. one is slower than the other though.

i used to have 2 256 ram. each one have it own clock.and nothing was wrong. and 2 were faster than 1 ram.
