الجواب جاء على لسان الرئيس المصري حسني مبارك الذي كان على مدى عقود من الزمن يكون ‏إما صوتاً لإنذار في المنطقة أو صاحب المعلومات الآتية من واشنطن بأن أمراً ما سيحصل.‏
فهو في العام 1991 قال إن الحرب آتية على العراق بسبب الكويت، وعشية مؤتمر شرم الشيخ ‏عام 2003 بادر إلى القول ان حدثاً كبيراً سيحصل وإن احتلال العراق آتٍ، واليوم يعلن أن ‏لبنان وما حوله سيكون في وضع خطير إذا سقطت المبادرة العربية، إن الجميع سينفضون ايديهم ‏عن لبنان وأوضاعه وكل ما حوله.‏
تزامن قول الرئيس حسني مبارك مع التأكيد النهائي لمشروع التوطين الفلسطيني في ما حول ‏فلسطين، من لبنان إلى سوريا إلى الأردن إلى بقية الدول العربية.‏
فقد أكد الرئيس بوش انه سيطلب من دول الخليج دعم الفلسطينيين ودعم مشروعه للتعويض ‏المالي على اللاجئين، وسرت أخبار شبه مؤكدة أن صندوقاً من 150 مليار دولار يتحضر من أموال ‏بترو دولار والاتحاد الأوروبي لتمويل توطين الفلسطينيين في الدول المحيطة بفلسطين المحتلة.

Bush couldn't do it alone, it is the arab leaders we have to be worried about. Whoever will be the next president of the United States will like such a "solution" since the Palestinians outside Israel are the biggest obstacle to peace. The next president will find Arab leaders willing to support him politically and financially to carry on such a plan

don't feel that we can do anything about it. and it's not the Palestinians are the one to blame...their is nothing they can do, the only arab country that accepts Palestine workers is the UAE and it's so hard even to go their...
what could be done if all the world including ****** Arabs agreed on neutralizing them or a big percent in lebanon and gave us money dor an exchange..

The issue about the middle east crise is not Bush or Mubarak or whatever, it's a locked circle about the jews and the jewish lobby and their plans to relief their mother land Israel. Even if Bush is omitted, another Bush will come, maybe under other ideas and other perceptions, but always under the lobby influence.

Another thing that seems to be really exaggerated....For sure the Jewish Lobby has its effect that can't be dismissed, but the chief reason behind the U.S support of Israel is simply because it is the best advantageous policy for it in the Middle East (and for some religious reasons). If that changes, whatever the Jewish Lobby does will not be enough to get back the support again....It probably will never change though for a long time
