إن لجنة الإعلام في "التيار الوطني الحرّ" وإذ تأسف لما حصل في منطقة عين علق في المتن الشمالي تتقدم بتعازيها الحارة لذوي الضحايا وتتمنى الشفاء العاجل للجرحى.
وبعدما أصبح الإستنكار مادة مستهلكة لا سوق لها، تطالب اللجنة السلطة الإضطلاع بمسؤولياتها للكشف عن الفاعلين الى أي جهة إنتموا، وتنبّه المتنيين خصوصاً واللبنانيين عموماً من الإنجرار الى الفتنة التي يحاول البعض تسويقها والاستقواء بها. وتشدّد على أهمية الإسراع في إيجاد حل سياسي يوقف هذا المسلسل ويعيد جو الأمان الى المواطنين ويؤمن المخرج للأزمة اللبنانية.

Yara Bayoumy - BOMBS exploded on two buses in a Christian area of Lebanon yesterday, killing at least three people and wounding 20, the eve of the second anniversary of ex-prime minister Rafiq al-Hariri's assassination, police said.



A police spokesman said the report of three deaths was preliminary and the toll could rise.

Government sources said most of the casualties were on public buses carrying people to work in Beirut from the area around Bikfaya, home town of the former president Amin Gemayel, whose son Pierre was assassinated by gunmen in November.

The blasts wrecked the buses and other vehicles on a mountain road about 24 kilometres north-east of Beirut. Pools of blood lay near a bus with its roof torn off. When the first bomb exploded, the driver of the second bus stopped and got out. His own bus then exploded, security sources said. The driver of the first bus was killed. The driver of the second was wounded



The Interior Minister, Hassan al-Sabaa, said early information was that the bombs had exploded inside the buses. The possibility of suicide bombings had not been ruled out and investigators were at the scene, which was cordoned off by troops and police.

The attacks were the first since the assassination of Mr Gemayel, industry minister in the government of the Prime Minister, Fouad Siniora which has been locked for months in a power struggle with the Hezbollah-led opposition. Tension has been running high since street clashes last month between supporters and opponents of the Western-backed government in which nine people were killed.

Pro-government groups had planned a mass memorial for Mr Hariri in Beirut's Martyrs' Square today, despite fears of friction with opposition supporters camped out nearby since December 1 as part of a campaign to topple the anti-Syrian cabinet.

Lebanon has seen 15 attacks on politicians, journalists and public places since Mr Hariri's murder on February 14, 2005. Many Lebanese blame the attacks on Syria, which denies any role. A United Nations inquiry has yet to complete its investigation.

قال العماد ميشال عون في حديث إلى قناة المنار: ما دام المستهدفون اللبنانيين الأمنين وليس المسؤولين السياسيين فذلك يعني انّهم يريدون إشاعة جو من التخويف، ومن الطبيعي انّ لها مدلولاً سياسياً خصوصاً أن هناك تصريحات بدأت تطالب بالأمن الذاتي، وأنا اؤكد انّ المطالبة به ليست الدواء.
- ماذا تقول في بعض التصريحات التي سارعت إلى الإتهام، ولماذا هذه المسارعة؟

من يسارع من السياسييين في الإستنتاج والإتهام وتوظيف الجريمة لمآربهم الشخصية بتحريض اللبنانيين، هدفه ضرب الحل، لأنّ بعض الأطراف متضررون من ايّ تسوية او حل ينهي الأزمة.
انا اقول إنّ الجريمة سياسية ومن يوظّفها سياسياً هو من يرتكبها، عادة لا أحد يعلم من هو المجرم بهذه السرعة والإتهام المباشر فور حدوث الجريمة يعني انّ الذي يتهّم هو الذي يعلم. من يتهمّ هو نفسه المتّهم، ولإبعاد التهمة عن شخصه يتهّم الآخرين. هل هذه بالفعل تنبؤات أم معلومات واطلاع، أنا شخصياً لا اؤمن بالتنبؤات، بعض الجهات التي تتنبأ من خلال الصحف تذكرّنا بمسرحيات "الرحابنة" عندما أرسل "نعوم الهبيلة" و"مخول" السلّة وبصرّا للست أنّها ستتلقى سلّة. نحن نخاف من المبصرّين ان يكونوا هم من يفتعلون هذه الجرائم.
- ماذا عن التحقيقات في مختلف الجرائم التي حصلت في لبنان والذي تجاوز عددها الـ 15، من دون أن نلحظ ايّ تقدّم؟ وما هي مسؤولية وزير الداخلية في الموضوع والأجهزة الأمنية؟

عندما أعطينا لجنة التحقيق الدولية كل الإمكانات وهي لديها كلّ الوسائل التقنية، ومع توافر كلّ امكانات التحقيق، والجرائم تزداد لتصل الى 15 من دون الكشف عن إحداها! هذا الأمر يجعلنا نشك في عملها وادائها، اما في شأن الأجهزة الأمنية اللبنانية فاداؤها يظهر فقط أنه مولج بمراقبة العماد عون، ووزير الداخلية يبدو انّه لا يشعر بمسؤوليته، هو لا يدري هل مهامه ادارية لإعطاء رخص أسلحة ام صلاحياته تعقيب معاملات وفي كل الأحوال يبدو أنّه لا يشعر بمسؤوليته تجاه المواطنين
