Wadih l Safi singing for Syria
وديع الصافي يطلق اغنيتين جديدتين لسوريا ورئيسها
اطلق الفنان وديع الصافي من دمشق اغنيتين جديدتين لسوريا ورئيسها بشار الاسد عنوانهما "وطن السلام" و"الاّك لا أمل". وقال الصافي في مؤتمر صحافي في العاصمة السورية في حضور نجليه طوني ومارلين انه يقدم الاغنيتين "عربون محبتي الخالصة وترجمة لاحساسي المخلص وايماني وامتناني لدولة سوريا والتي كانت ولا تزال سباقة في تقدير وديع الصافي". وردا على سؤال حول الانتقادات التي قد توجه اليه لاطلاقه الاغنيتين في فترة تشهد فيها العلاقات بين لبنان وسوريا توترا سياسيا قال "حتى الآن لم ينتقدني احد" مضيفا انه "بهذه الاغاني يوثق العلاقات بين لبنان وسوريا".

i think that this thread fit more in the multimedia section.
so what if Wadih El-Safeh sang for Syria and its president ?? he's an artist and he have the complete right in singing for whoever he wants to. he only offered his voice as a way to thank Syria because she gave him a lot maybe more than what Lebanon gave him, at least he wasn't a slave or a Syrian boot licker when Syria was occupying Lebanon

My dream is that someday a person from another country will sing for Lebanon and its president. But come to think about it again who would want to sing for Lebanon and Fouad el Seniora(Since he believes and thinks he takes the role of the president)???
