Follow these simple steps please: ( if your isp uses DHCP mode
![]() 1-and the basic settings panel( commonly it;s the first page in most routers) under the title internet ip address : choose: Get Dynamically From ISP. and do the same for the DNS address. 2- name go to Advanced wireless settings and make sure that both (Enable Wireless Router Radio and Enable SSID Broadcast are checked) 3-go to the lan ip setup set the ip address 192.168.1.1 and the subnet mask 255.255.255.0, as for RIP Direction : None, RIP Version : Disabled. 4-also in the same panel (Lan ip setup) CHECK the bax near: Use Router as DHCP Server 5-save changes on the router then exit 6-delete your internet connections on both of your pcs 7-create new (local are connections) and set them up to automaticly get ip from server settings 8- when you are done plz restart both of your pcs 9-when done try to ping on 192.168.1.1 Note: please provide me with additional details about your internet connection specially about the following 1-Do you need to enable proxy to surf? 2-Do you have a static ip? 3-Try to post a picture for your routers control panel If my steps didnt work for you plz do as i asked in the note so we can easily solve your problem |

you enable the DHCP server in z router.
so when u connect a pc to this router (whether by a cable or wireless), the router will assign an IP, subnet mask and gateway and a dns if necessary to the PC. |
