Default Humanitarian Aid

Once again, our esteemed government gnawed with its greedy hands at the aid sent to our sameedon citizens... Aid seemed to flow into lebanon, yet, so little reached the families in need.I myself witnessed this, a box of virtually useless and cheap materials intended for 8days for a family of 5. What?! was that a joke? a few bags of beans and sugar and tea will do for 8days? Bottom line is, the aid issue was successfully 'milked' by our responsibles and SoLd. there is no denying that, especially regarding medicine, which u find in plastic bags in some pharmacies. The pasta boxes with names of humanitarian agencies' logos glued printed on them...
That's not the worst part... Political parties competed in getting their emblems on the aid they were distributing, aid which was given to them to be distributed and not provided by them. Truthfully, from what i have seen, only the Marada 3anjad 7atto min keeson w gave selflessly, not just basic needs, but stuff like dental care and medical 'unnecessary' benefits, water heaters, etc. and i know that cause i was with them in the schools...
Why? mish 3ayb bi heik 7ale w heik mas2ale ysir fi ghesh w waskhane hal2ad?

E7em, what an avatar !!!! I like it ..

anywayz, back to topic, you are totally right, for me , i knew what Marada did, they worked in the north specifically in Zgharta , Batroun and Koura ... the numbers of refugees were big. It was a shame to see Naila Mouaawad "wazeerit al shou2oun al ijtimia3iya" sending help she got to people by her name !!! ..Moreover, she sent help to zgharta citizens who follow her ...inno 3ayb ...

Bass Not being an FPMer, i have to give the biggest credit to them .. Although i couldnt see them, but we all know how much they helped in Jbeil and other places in Lebanon. Ya3neh, they were so Active on ground.

Regards !

I was stationed in a school in the heart of Zgharta. There, the family, a big one, the Douaihy family, took care of the personnel (us :P) from guarding to aiding, etc. I used to ask for 40 cans of something, i got 60. Refugees with aching teeth from long ago,got them fixed. An old man was given glasses after discovering he had miaopia... Not to mention of course all the comforts of life.
The Nayla supporters however tried to muscle in and asked that we leave everything to them... yeah right! everything, and i do mean everything, (even diapers) had 'mou2asaset rene moawad' on it. Also, they did not allow aid from Caritas meant for our school to arrive, but instead, rerouted it to their own center and plastered their name on it... (not to mention the aid given to locals who are not in need of them, the supporters of nayla)

It will be shown on New TV on Friday the 15th @ 20h30 KSA - 17h30 GMT (Local & Sat) 18:30 Leb time .For the last 2 weeks they have been showing with documents and numerous statements from makhatir el diya3 in the south just how corrupt the hayka el 3ulya lil ighatha is(nothing unexpected as it has to do with the Harriri family ) One mukhtar was saying that the aid he received was all local produce ( made in lebanon ) they had swapped all aid coming from the EU and UN and put local stuff instead.
Next week Nayla and her dipstick son will be shown for what they really are ...low life scum suckers.
