كشفت مصادر خاصة بـ"عكاظ" في بيروت أن اسمين يجري التداول فيهما لتولي قيادة الجيش خلفاً للعماد ميشال سليمان بعد انتخابه اليوم رئيساً للجمهورية وهما العقيد جورج خوري والعقيد جان قهوجي. وقالت المصادر ان اختيار احدهما سيخضع للجو السياسي الذي سيرافق تشكيل الحكومة والتعيينات الإدارية التي ستحصل وما إن كانت ستجري في جوّ توافقي أو أنها ستكون مكاناً جديداً للتجاذب السياسي. واضافت ان قيادة الجيش حالياً تدور بين العقيدين خوري وقهوجي فيما قيادة الحرس الجمهوري تبدو محسومة للعقيد وديع غفري ورئاسة مخابرات الجيش للعقيد جوزيف نجيم

however hizbullah wil never agree on him ,probably georges khoury will be the next army chief (he don't deserve it but that's how this works)
