I read the previous posts, all you guys are saying hell no and whatever
it was because you were brainwashed since you were kids"say no to drugs" and all the commercials and the sad stories etc...

I only regret that they didn't have as much awareness commercials about smoking because believe me, if they talked about smoking the same way they talked about drugs, you would have had the same reaction for cigarets.

now lets go back to the drug topic. does anyone understand exactly what are the effects of drugs on the brain? and how much happiness it brings?

basicly when you experience a pleasural event in normal cases such as eating, drinking or having an orgasm for example, your brain releases a substance called dopamine that gives you this feeling of happiness, but certain enzymes in the brain quickly degrade and pull the substance back 5 to 10 seconds after it is released, that is why no one can have an orgasm for 20 minutes

basicly what a drug does is either increase the secretion of dopamine, or hamper its reuptake therefore increasing the effect of pleasure

cocaine for example stops the brain from taking up the dopamine again so you can actualy have a feeling similiar to an orgasm for 2 to 3 hours

100% pleasure is what you would normaly feel if you had sex or ate or something
cocaine can give you a 300% pleasure. so imagine the time you were feeling maximum happiness and multiply it by 3
meth is an even more powerful drug as you can see.


now for my opinion, basicly, I would love to know how that feels to have so much dopamine in your brain,but I don't want to get addicted(heck I don't even smoke) if I were offered the chance to try a drug under medical supervision for example and if I were given guarrenties that it would not affect my health on the long run

u cant group all the drugs under one categorie! some drugs gives u pleasure (u feel high like hashish) others makes u hallucinate (like marijuana) and others makes u go crazy (cocaine) so u cant say that all drugs gives u pleasure!

they all have one thing in common
it's that dopamine increase
that is what makes you happy
wether through hallucination or craziness or whatever
the dopamine is there

edit: the meth makes you scratch yourself to death, you litterelrly peal your own flesh of your bones, it also makes you hallucinate, but it gives you pleasure like no other
so yes I can say all drugs give pleasure no matter what
