if you want to make your pc happy put vista 64 bit on it with the 4gb of rams vista will be dancing and delivering some ultimate performances!!

My main operating system will be linux ubuntu 8.04 64 bit, i might install xp or vista 64 bit on a virtual machine

vista 64 bit will even require more than 4gb of ram it is recommended that you get 8gb (double the bits, double the memory)

Man there's no big difference between the prices, about 30$, so if I were you I would get the Core 2 Quad, by adding a small amount of money, and I would be satisfied more, but the choice comes to you man

I bought the tower - ups - keyboard mouse... yesterday and today (in few hours) the monitors yay! i will post some pictures soon

can u give me the amperes of each voltage rail (12V, 5V, 3V) u can read them on the Power supply
also, what is the power of your power supply?

and a side note: the core 2 duo that xcoder bought is blazingly fast
byefla7 bel ared fle7a, and if he is not using applications that can use the 4 cores, no need for quad core.

Roudy i ll post the info once i get back home, but i know that the power supply is 600. the weird thing it that i can plug a monitor to my ups lol, yes the same monitor you plug to your pc, i think it displays the time left...
