PORTUGAL
• Why they can win: The Portuguese have the best player in the world in Cristiano Ronaldo and a superb backup crew led by Deco and Joao Moutinho in midfield. Pre-tournament concerns about the defense have been silenced by the stellar play of Pepe. • Why they can’t win: Potential disruptions are abound, with coach Luiz Felipe Scolari heading off to Chelsea and Ronaldo refusing to discuss his possible switch to Real Madrid. The off-field issues have created an uneasy aura around the Portugal camp. GERMANY • Why they can win: The Germans can never be written off. Resilience and mental strength are like gold dust for them in the later stages, and if this team is cut from the same cloth as its predecessors, it won’t give up without a fight. • Why they can’t win: The form of Joachim Loew’s side in Group B was ordinary – and that’s being kind. The team looked unconvincing against weak Austrian and Polish sides and was out-maneuvered by Croatia in its only real test source : yahoo.sports Thank You ...

Lothar Matthaeus Expectations :
Lothar says: Portugal 1-1 Germany (1-1 aet, Germany to win on penalties) "On paper, and on performances so far, Portugal have to be the favourites, but the Germans won't play poorly for a third match in a row. They'll raise their game to Portugal's level and will play their best game of the tournament so far. A dramatic game with a lot of goalscoring opportunities still won't be able to separate the two sides after 120 minutes and we know how good the Germans are when it comes to penalties. We have proved that in many tournaments, so a victory for us after penalty kicks." source :eurosports Thank You ...

when brazil aint playin i choose many teams but if you want me to "2e7sera" drop spain.. netherland and portugal, i like portugal because of the brazilian coach, and netherlands because i used to love the old team (stam, edgar davids, etc.. ) and spain because i like spanish premiera it;s the best club league and they play really well.... and everything related to barcelona milan and real madrid.. i like skills in the game and those 2 teams keep me happy when braizl is not playin.. but in World Cup there is only Brazil no other alla 3emel hal team w kasar el kaaleb!
