E 51

Guys i need your help , Have an E 51 ,, but their is an Advertisement on it , and it's programmed with these Advertisement , No new functions !! Only some of the icon Look changed .. The company of Advertisement is ( I , 1254 the number , the theme was changed also into I , but i changed it ,,

Any help how to change it ???

- Install The Nokia PC Suite
- Update The "Nokia Software Updater"
- Connect Your Phone To The PC Using The USB Cable.
- Connect Your Phone To The Charger.
- Run The Nokia Software Updater. ~> You Need A Good Internet Connection

WAIT! if the electricity goes down while formatting you cell, you will have to throw your phone in the garbage.
take it to I2 they will do it for you.

^^ True once i was doing that , and i read that if the elec. goes or unplugg ur fone it will be damaged for good!! , so i stoped it deghri!! cz as i know the software is like 16 mbs as i remember , and the elec. mesh ma3roof sho deena , bteegi 3al 2:00 bte2ta3 3al 2:30 shi 15 minutes!

Not True...

The Nokia Software Updater Downloads The Software First, And Then Installs It.
If You Get Disconnected While Downloading The Software, All You Have To Do Is Start Over Again, But If You Are Using A UPS For Your PC, Or A Laptop, This Shouldn't Be A Big Problem, Cause You Only Damage Your Phone If You Unplug It While Updating The Software.

I Updated My Mobile Twice... It's Safe, As Long As You Don't Unplug Your Mobile Phone While It's Installing The Software

Anyways, As I Said, You Need A Pretty Good Connection... Cause Mobile Softwares Are Large... The Nokia N95-1 Software V21.0.016 Is Around 112 MBs, And I Guess E-Series Softwares Are Larger.

and about the software size, yes it is large, not 16mb for the communicator series!

And that's why I call it stupid machines...
Taking the case of Iphone for example, you can play with the system however you want and unplug it as many times as you want while installing the os...
It's all about the bios (the embedded software), this is really a gap in the symbian os installation basis...

Weird, I'm Sure The Electricity Went Out While Installing The Software And Not While Downloading It.

Plus, If You Notice, Sometimes When The Electricity Goes Out, The USBs That Are Plugged To The PC Unpluggs Automatically, I Think This Is Morpheus' Case.
