Default Relatives of Alleged Fatah al-Islam Members Want Justice

The news is old but after it more protests happened. So hopefully there isn't a similar thread in here. (I checked but I might have missed it).

Here is part of the news from Naharnet:

Quote:
Relatives of alleged members of an Islamist group that fought a 15-week battle with the Lebanese army last year staged a protest on Friday demanding their release from jail.
Beirut, 01 Aug 08, 19:08
After this protest, we also saw Future Movement MP, Moustafa Alloush, with them. He was attacked during the protest but after it he clearly stated that it wasn't the protesters who hit him but they were non-Salafist.

After few days from that incident, I watched an interview with a Salafist Sheykh who was asking for the release of the prisoners and he also stated that they were given weapons by Saad Hariri and Saniora.

He also talked about a promise by Saad Hariri to get the prisoners released. Doesn't this look like what happened to the protesters who attacked Ashrafieh (instead of the Danish embassy)?

And now I read a news.

القاضي عويدات اخلى سبيل 15 شخصا من موقوفي احداث نهر البارد

Where is the justice minister?

The Justice is that They Should be executed all at once as a lesson not to mess with the Lebanese National Army. and not being released from prison

A thank you message for the release... They must also called it wa3d el sade2 since Hariri promised and it happened...

Yel3an hal balad..lezim na3mal zo3ran la 7ata yemshe l7al..biggest proof 3melna zo3ran bi beirut w meshe l7al..badon yena ndal zo3ran ya3ne la yemshe l7al..if yes then let us send them all to hell...EXECUTION IS THE BEST SOLUTION FOR THEM...ma 3ala 2ases war on terror and we won..then let us continue this victory..

Release our men 2al..eh bring us our soldiers back who got martyred in that battle and then go away from this country...

I second their demand, justice should be applied and see those terrorists hanged in public to make whoever think to touch our army to think twice.
The bad thing is that we lost more than we won, 1 soldier of our army worths all those scum non human creatures.
No doubt they support hariri, he released them in 2000 and will do it again if he had the chance.

I am against releasing any terrorist that shot a bullet against our Lebanese Army, BUT yes those protestors have the complete right in asking the release of innocent people who are still arrested without any trial and they didn't participate in any terrorist act but they were arrested just because they belong to a salafist party or because they have a certain different opinion.

Justice shall prevail ! like we don't accept on ourselves being arrested just because of our beliefs and political affiliation, we mustn't accept it if it happened to others that we doesen't share their views and opinions.

Innocent people who were arrested and didn't commit any crime should be released immediatly, criminals should be burned alive.

the problem is that it's not your job or my job to know who is innocent and who is not. there are lawyers, judges, investigations and a whole judiciary system to do it !!!
