The war (i know uve heard this alot" but this war was the war of dignity to us "lebanese" and yes baby i travel alot to arab countries and western and i raise my head that im holding the lebanese passport and they all look at me with pride, and thanx to said hasan and ilmoujahedeen on the jabha.

bas Patriotic has a problem in the way he says his opinion, he always gives the impression that he prefers Isreal over hizbullah, and even if Hizbullah dominates the world, he would deny they achieved anything. He gives the impression that he hates hizbullah even more than the devil and thus, tries to shift realities

inno he cant stop saying that they kidnaped two soldiers to free lebanese in jail and they r still in jail, inno everybody knows that they will be freed soon, its now just a matter of time.

let him wait and see the results, but he dont want, and i bet even when the asra r freed and shib3a comes back, he will come up with an excuse to say that it wasnt because of hizbullah

You know guys, It is really funny when i read that we lost the war bc we had distruction.
first of all i want to mention if winning the war or loosing it is related to the quantity of distruction, we should change the history of WWII and declare that Hitler won over England since london was almost all burning from bombing!
Second to everyone who sais that how did we win when our prisoners r still with israel and same for shebaa farms. i want to to remind them that it was Israel who attacked and made the conflict a war. the purpose of HA is to kidnap the soldiers and exchange them with our lebanese prisoners, the thing that will happen in the very near future.
About shebaa farms, same as they withdrew from the south in 2000, theyw ill withdraw from shebaa when they feel that they are loosing more and more.

Let us go back to the rules that we had for this war.
for israel the targets that they put for themselves that they want to reach are the following:
-kill SHN
-distroy HA
-return the soldiers

After the was started and saw that it is kind of difficult for themm they changed the targets to the following, which shows how israel started to loose at that point the war:
- reduce the power of HA
- make them leave the south of the Litany,
- and kill SHN whenever he will show up
and if all of us remember when they said it is impossible to dsiarm them.

For HA the two target they had in this war was:
- to keep the prisoner and exchange them
- to defend and make the enemy suffer to the max

So i would like to know from everyone who said that we lost...can you inlight me who reached his target? because the side who reached his points is conisdered to be winner.
SHN stayed in the stadium speaking for an hour and they didnt dare to stop him.

انتقد قائد أركان الجيش الإسرائيلي الأسبق أمنون ليفكين ــ شاحك، في مقابلة نشرتها صحيفة «يديعوت أحرونوت» أمس، «الإدارة الإسرائيلية لحرب لبنان الثانية»، مشيراً إلى أنَّ «إسرائيل لم تحرز نتائج يمكن التفاخر بها، لقد خنَّا جنود الاحتياط الإسرائيليين في هذه الحرب».
وقال شاحك: «عندما أفكر بما شعر به جنود الاحتياط أثناء الحرب لا أشعر إلا بالإهانة. وأكثر من إهانة أيضاً. أشعر بالخجل. كان علينا الحفاظ على الثقة التي منحها هؤلاء المقاتلون للجهاز العسكري. لقد خنّاهم وخيبنا آمالهم. لقد أعطيناهم أقل مما هو متوقع من الجيش».
واستطرد قائد الأركان الأسبق، الذي يُعَدُّ من أبرز القادة العسكريين الإسرائيليين ومن أكثر المقربين إلى رئيس الوزراء الإسرائيلي السابق إسحق رابين، إن «هذه الحرب عذبتني كثيراً، شعرت من خلالها شعوراً سيئاً. لم أكن أعلم بكل التفاصيل التي حصلت في الميدان، لكن لا توجد هناك حاجة لأن أكون خبيراً بما جرى كي أعرف بأن أخطاءً فادحة وقعت».
وذكر شاحك أنه «فجع» كيف أن إسرائيل «لم تستطع خلال 33 يوماً من الحرب أن تقلل من القوة الصاروخية التي يمتلكها حزب الله، وإخراج مئات آلاف الإسرائيليين من الملاجئ»، مبيناً أنَّ «الجيش الإسرائيلي لم يكمل المهمة، بل على العكس، النتائج كانت سيئة جداً». وعن نتائج الحرب، قال: «لم ننتصر. بالتأكيد لم ننتصر عسكريًا. هذا جيد أنَّ حزب الله دفع ثمناً وقوات دولية موجودة الآن على الحدود، ولكن الجيش لم يحقق إنجازاً عسكرياً. علينا ألا نلخص هذه الحرب بأنها انتصار».
وقال قائد الأركان الأسبق إن الإدارة الإسرائيلية «تواجه مصاعب كبيرة»، مشيراً إلى أن قائد الأركان الإسرائيلي دان حالوتس «يواجه أزمة ثقة لم تشهد مثيلاً لها»، مبيناً أن «أزمة الثقة لم تقتصر على نتيجة إدارته للحرب، بل عدم الثقة به لإجراء الإصلاحات المستقبلية في الجيش». وأضاف: «هناك حاجة لفحص السنوات التي سبقت الحرب على لبنان. كيف بنى حزب الله هذه القوة؟ وكيف عملت الاستخبارات الإسرائيلية؟ وماذا علمت وما لم تعلم؟».
وانتقد شاحك تعيين عمير بيرتس وزيراً للدفاع، مشيراً إلى أنَّ «تعيينه ليس خياراً طبيعياً لهذا لمنصب. وأولمرت لم يفكر بخبرة بيرتس. كان الاختيار خاطئاً». كما انتقد تعيين دان حالوتس قائدًا للأركان من قبل رئيس الوزراء السابق آرييل شارون بقوله: «لا أعرف ماذا دار في عقل شارون عندما عينه قائداً للأركان، ولكن يمكن أن شارون قال: أنا رئيس الحكومة ولا يهم من هو وزير الأمن أو قائد الأركان، أنا ساقول لهم ماذا سيفعلون».
