Well, my point was proved anyway, and this is drifting into a different topic of a philosophical aspect (but a rather shallow one).

I already expected you to say that, and already addressed this issue in a post before yours. Read back. We're not looking for any sympathy dude. We're living happily and most of the gay population is made up of successful men and women who are blended in the society, rooted in it, and you won't even notice them.

Several also argued about the power of choice. You don't choose your gender, you don't choose your eye color, you don't choose your birth defects, you don't choose your cock size, ... there are several things you don't choose. No, I'm not encountering a fallacy here. I already went over the fact that gay people can't change:

1. They don't have the power to change themselves.
2. Psychologists were unable to change homosexuals. There are several "ex-gay" organizations that claim to be able to convert people back to 'straight', but if you research about them well enough, you'll find it's all scandals, and those running the organizations still practice homosexuality in secret, and the success rate is close to 0.
3. Up until you find a cure for our so-called sickness, you have no right to say anything against us. I don't see you bashing people with cancer by the way. They're sick, aren't they? It's only a sickness in a different location of the body.

At least we have seen improvement from "hanging gay people" to "sickness".
upon the time black people were seen inferior and were treated savagely, bought, sold and killed. In Lebanon this mentality still exists unfortunately; African or east-Asian people who works as maid in houses is a clear example (i m sure many of you have this at home).
We still have the mentality that Christians are better than Muslims and vice versa, not to mention the "Jews burning".
Sexism and Homophobia are no exceptions, many societies have passed through this and many didn't yet.
Despite all what is said above, we hold all kind of flags and call for "freedom" and "rights" that we don't really understand.

You can see how a big difference between animals and humans exists in their evolutionary process. Long ago, we were more primitive people. We were governed by "survival of the fittest". Now whether you agree with Darwinian theory or not, it's not the case here, because I'm gonna be using a stemming of it only and not going to its extreme end.

So people was let's say more primitive at least from the scientific aspect of humans. People used to kill each other, and this led to survival of the fittest among people, thus leading to improvement of the best characteristics of people [best = strongest in surviving]. And now here we are.

Historians and scientists say that humans are very much less likely to survive. Why? Because our nature has changed from that of animals in regard to survival. We now take care of the weak and tolerate difference instead of removing it. We no longer have an animal instinct of survival in our societies. If you disagree, then you're one of the people promoting war between nations, and you're a racist and and and. At this point, I will quit arguing you because it is no longer a matter of homosexuality and we'd go off-topic.

first of all many people here are homosexual couples and adopt. this past week we were sharing cool things about each one of us in orientation and one kid said i have two dads and was raised by gay parents. (the boy is heterosexual) I dont see why you have to act like heterosexuals are from outer space.

Being close minded is an excuse that's being used for lots of things nowadays.
If we don't accept homosexuality it doesn't have to do with being in 2008 or being close minded.
