I didn't say that i agree on everything done by Bachir. what about all the others who watched the Syrian and Palestinian war machine attacking Beirut ??
Considering everyone as traitors is a good strategy to justify your opinions.. ma 7ada 3ejbak

Yeah thats right...well most of it is The Palestinians did get armed and caused a lot of trouble and no doubt they are the main reason why the civil war started,
Agreed... and what was supposed being done in order to prevent them ?

Why did the Lebanese Forces had to be only Christian if it is to achieve such a noble patriotic goal as protecting the Lebanese from the Palestinians?
Did you ever read why the people you called "the lebanese allies" of Palestinians allied themselves with Palestinians?
The truth is, the civil war wasn't only caused by the Palestinians as you try to make it sound. The reasons Muslim forces preferred to ally themselves with Palestinians where not ones of their choice and that I am sure a person like you must know. Palestinians could easily use the already existing conflict that is ready to escalate especially after becoming heavily armed in a relatively short period of time. If really the Palestinians...the foreigns ....were the problem or better say the only problem, the war would have taken another course.

Same thing, if it wasn't for him a lot of innocent ppl who had nothing to with Fate7 or any of the people in the conflict would have been alive. You are again going with the "everyone did that" thing. No excuse, I never said anyone else is a hero or a saviour or a chosen one . The truth of your thoughts are, "tghaddaynehon abel ma yet3ashoona"... jungle law

I am not discussing the Lebanese civil war, who were the attackers ??
Bachir Gemayel just protected his society, when you are being attacked you have to defend yourself, the existence of Lebanon as a country was in danger in that time. massacres done by Bashir Gemayel was a respond to other horrible massacres done by his opponents. i am not justifying the massacres, both sides were wrong !!! but there was an attacker and a defender.. Bachir Gemayel and his forces were in a defensive position, they were protecting themselves and their homes.

after his assassination and when the Lebanese Forces became in the hands of Hobeika and Geagea, it became a militia and involved itself in the civil war.... when i talk about Bachir Gemayel, i am talking about the Lebanese-Palestinian conflict (1975-1982 era) i am not defending the massacres done against other Lebanese !! all what i am saying is that he defended Lebanon from a Palestinian invasion !!!
He did crimes against other Lebanese and it was wrong !!
He cooperated with Israel while everyone else was cooperating with Syria and other countries and buying weapons. from where was he supposed to get weapons ?? the sea ???
but at least he didn't approve any Israeli interference in the internal lebanese affairs in contrary of a lot of other Lebanese who let the syrians control Lebanon for 30 years.

"Whatever man....He is dead now and we should respect the dead no matter how their evils affected out lives today..."

The following post was thanked by General, John A, Flamenguita and all the kids who didn't read in my post the reasons why I have the right to criticize whoever I want.

I dare these kids for the sake of the almost 1800 posts I had here and for all the time I wasted in this forum which I would have been better off spending watching TeleTubbies to leave this post
