Actually, There is something called a "Lucid dream", it's a dream where you can control your actions and surroundings, this dreams are usually coincidental, but with practice one could control any dream he wants.
I've tried it a few times, I was able to get conscious that I was dreaming but wasn't able to control the dream.

Yeah it's also know as conscious dream, i had it few times usually lamma "rawbiss" ... and as u said after a while you can practice them, it's very useful i found lamma el wa7ad yrawbiss

I don' know much about it cause I have only tried getting them a few times, but what you should do is focus your concentration when you go to bed on getting conscious while dreaming. If you're lucky you will at some point in the dream start to notice that something isn't right, like seeing someone jump really high or something else that would be impossible in real life, you will then realize that you are dreaming, you might then be able to control your actions in the dream. With practice one should be able to control most of his dreams.

Search for "Lucid dream" on Wikipedia, there is a big article about it.

i only managed to do this once , i was in a dream , then i realized that im dreamin , and im standin in the street , and it was night , and the moon is so HUGE in the sky!! amazin! so.. i decided to fly , so i ran n ran n ran , n jumped to fly , then hit the ground , and i woke up ...
