IDM or Sodetel ?

Hi , my ISP now is the cable guy next door… he’s giving me a 64 kb down 16 kb up for 40$ a month ( yes it’s true ) , and now i want to get DSL and am confused between which ISP to choose . Am a heavy user so Ogero isn’t for me because it hasn’t the unlimited traffic at night… I want the 512/128 account with unlimited traffic at night… So that’s leave me the other choices like IDM , Sodetel , Terranet , Cyberia…. finally am confused between Sodetel and IDM ( if others ISP are better then those 2 plz tell me ) , my friends told me to go for IDM … but I heard that their latency sucks , well I don’t care a lot about latency because am not an online gamer but why not choosing a ISP who got better latency… one other thing is the price of the modem , I want a WIFI modem with 4 ports , the price of that modem with IDM is 99$ , for sodetel is 70$ why that difference ? ( or am wrong about the prices dono… ) finally what about the feasibility check for the double speed at night and unlimited traffic ? what they mean by that …

i am an IDM user, w im very satisfied, i have the 512/128 account
the difference in the prices of the modems is the brand of the modems, and the company's calculations for the first fee w hal 2osas
about the feasibility check, el 2osa eno not all central offices are ready for the double speed thing @ night
ya3ni some central offices equipments are old w hek eshya, w kamen fe maslan el 3alam ele 3enda telephone cables w kteer old, 3m ne7ki b cables from 20 years w hek, amrar ma byezbat l double speed 3alyha
the feasibility check is a test made on the telephone line to check if it is compatible to handle a high speed internet that's it, w hal test bye5od about 1 week-10 days

what I meant is ymasho el account yaret fik tmashina inta kamen and last time I checked with Sodetel they told me I must wait a month la ymashouleh el account ( a month ba3ed el terkib ) ana yestofel meshen ma yontor

Man they're just the same, they're the 2 best ISPs for ADSL!!! I'm a Sodetel DSL user the 256K limited plan, it's great, and I'm not having any problems at any time. And it took EXACTLY 1 month fot the internet to work, I remember I presented the application in 28 October, and in 28 November they came and istalled the router, and the internet was working!!


And about the prices of modems..... The wireless one at IDM it costs 99$ you know why?? cz it contains 71$ price of modem and 28$ price of subscription for Ogero!!! It's the same with Sodetel, the modem is 70$ donno why cheaper by 1$, and the subscription for your DSL line for Ogero 28$.


And am gonna' say it again: THEY'RE JUST THE SAME!!

When I went to the Termium exhibition I checked many ISPs,well cyberia had somethin' special to offer:they can lower the internet latency according to your needs.(that's what i understood from the guy there)ken fe people 3m yel3abo CoD4 and WoW w the gameplay was ammazingly fast ! U can play online games on the pc or ps3 or xbox..u tell em what u want and they work on it.try to call em and get more info about it.

well i live in a new building ( built in 2005 ) and my central is chiyyah...
what about latency who have the better latency IDM or Sodetel ?
i've heard that IDM is giving an offer this month for the starter package; 39$ instead of 89$ they said (it's on their homepage)

i dunno about the latency of idm and sodetel
bas my central is chiyyah kamen and i have unlimited double nights ! but ask them about ur number to be sure.

I’ve applied for IDM yesterday , the guy over there told me that the chiyyah central is almost full and unlimited double night may not work , well then he told me to apply now to get the December offer ( 50$ reduction of the starting package ) and next week will call me to see if the unlimited nights will work and if not I’ll get my money back … well I guess he pulled a trick on me at the beginning to see if I don’t care about the unlimited nights so he’ll give me the ogero like account but when he saw me that am VERY interested in the unlimited double nights and without it I’ll not subscribe he told me “ it will work it will work I guess “ ( hal lebneniyeh 7afzinoun kelloun m2ata3in mwasalin :P )…
They said to me that they’ll install my DSL in 1 month to 40 days well I can wait...
They gave me a “Thomson” (wifi + 4 ports ) modem , is it a good modem ? and I’ve chose the prepaid card as the method of payment , does anybody knows where I can buy those cards ( chi ma7al ykoun bi sin el fil aw bi sfeir …)?
