IDM or Sodetel ?

I don't think the type of your internet connection will affect such programs as emule w torrent ... akid it will be faster, but mainly those depends on the numbers of peers or seekers especially when you are looking for rare movies which may not have a lot of fans who want to download them ...
so don't be surprised if your download speed for certain movies was 1kb/sec with IDM

no man , ur right about the number of peers, bas the p2p programs sometimes are blocked by the ISP ,i used to have a cable connection from a local ISP ,limewire,torrents,emule and such p2p programs were blocked i couldnt connect thru them..as well as some online games that required java..so u need those specific ports to be open by the ISP.

remember one good thing:
if you limit the upload speed allowed to be consumed by the p2p software, you will be slowing down your own download speed without knowing it.
this is a policy used by the P2P software makers in order to raise the number of seeders and the quality of seeding. if everyone is gonna leech and noone is gonna seed properly, then how does this concept going to work?

I have sodetel DSL 256k limited connection, and i'm so satisfied, and about your question, I'm 250000000% sure that it's allowed, but there's usage policy, which is if you download tooooo much you connection speed will gradually start to decrease and come back to normal at 12 midnight.

And by saying tooooooooooo much download we're talking about downloading more than 2-3GB/day

i asked them about this fair usage policy , they said that its only for networks and companies , not for home and residental usages . btw why the limited plan? why ddnt u get the 256 unlimited plan?
