1- aliens doesnt really have to be like humans (they may breath other than O2, eat other stuff... As Tawa said ya3ne)

enno mich if there is no O2 we can breathe CO2
it's not a choice, the living organism needs to make energy
the living things that breathe CO2 like plants and some unicellular bacterias also benefit from light to make use of the CO2. if the sunlight is too much to bare that living thing will not be able to live. w2enno you want an alien to live on light and on CO2 and you want it to be plury cellular and mobile and has an intelligent brain

the evolution of organisms wil be very limited in harsh conditions

earth itself despite its correct gravitation and gravity did not become a good planet for living until after like 5 billion years, when oxygen levels in the air went up and CO2 levels drop(5 billion years of micro bacterias making O2 fixed our atmosphere )

Why are you considering the conditions of a human to live are the same for an alien?! Maybe their life depends on a material that does not exists on earth!
Who said that all the formulas and the scientific information that you know are applicable outside?! (somewhere in the universe!)
Each system has it's own rules, so keep in mind that there surely exist other rules in other systems that you don't know and you might not know!

So yeh they do exist , and No , maybe they dont need water or o2 like us , You cant compare everything in the universe to earth , and thats the hugest mistake that the scientists are doing .

As i remember , that in the early 80s or so , the nasa launched more than 100 missile into the universe in different directions , those missiles had tapes and pictures of life on earth , and the location of earth in the universe , untill now we didnt hear anythin from anyone from there . maybe the sciensts forgot to add a phone number , and the aliens are very polite to come without calling first

You dont need fuel to reach far spaces , once you set off in space , you will keep on going non stop , and you can go round planets and gain speed from that . not to mention that you can get power from stars and suns .

from my point of view, i believe that a very very long time ago there used to be "people" living on earth, they were smarter than us (humans) since we were monkeys and we were evolving... these "people" since they were very smart were building (pyramids, Baalbeck and many other places that still the humans dont know how they build them in that time with no technology). and since these guys were toooo smart for us, they thought that they might have some kind of supernatural powers and made them their gods... but u know every thing has an end, ya these guys died or they left to another planet or whatever...
this theory is made by scientists and i believe it should be taken as a serious one.
