Pros: If it worked I would have a pro for everyone, but alas it doesn't.

Cons: I think the stock fan broke or something, contacting newegg about it today since the computer wouldn't even get to bios the first 5 times i tried to load an operating system. Finally got to bios and the cpu was running at 111C. The heatsink has contact with the cpu but I took it off any remounted it, after if shut off again I didn't want to risk absolutely destroying my cpu. The stock heatsink came with thermal compound and its clearly not doing what its supposed to.

Other Thoughts: I'm pretty sure a new heatsink and fan would solve the problem but I want to make sure that the cpu isn't destoryed from the non-working stock heatsink and fan.

Pros: Works great, easy to install

Cons: The retail heatsink seems to bend my mb more than I would prefer but everything still works.

Pros: Overclocking dream! Smooth - use to transcode movies primarily, kids love it for the gaming aspect. Has cut my time converting/transcoding movies & video files tremendously. This processor is a multi tasking dream. Glad I invested a few extra dollars on this processor - it was well worth it, you won't be disappointed!

Cons: Factory Heatsink

Other Thoughts: Listen to the advice on these reviews and invest in an aftermarket heatsink. I'm using the TRUE 120 Black Edition. Tossed the factory heatsink as soon as I took it out of the box - it's a joke

Now what is the heatsink?????
since ill be getting this CPU .

"Heatsink" or "berrad" as we say in Arabic

It is an aluminum part that covers the CPU used for power dissipation

your Case will keep you alert of any overheating, and since you are not overclocking, you don't need to worry. (remember that you have warranty).
