Default Monitor Resolution Issue

I have a BenQ 22" LCD E2200HD that is connected to my Radeon HD 4850 512MB through a DVI-HDMI adapter. All resolutions are fine except for 1776x1000 & 1920x1080, when I go up to these resolutions the picture becomes small and I get black around it, I didn't have this problem when the monitor was connected to the PC through DVI-DVI, nor was the a problem when it was connected to the PS3 through HDMI-HDMI.

1680x1050:

1920x1080:

I've tried a differant DVI-HDMI adapter, but there was no luck.
How can I solve this problem?

Man try changing the resolution from ATI's software which is ATI catalyst i think, if it also didn't work then there's no solution except connecting it but using DVI-DVI connection

1776x1000 is a non standard resolution that i don't recommend you to use it.
change the frequency of the display (lower it) when you raise the resolution to full HD.
