Rock Vs Rap

I say that rap music is a view taken as a philosophy for life... for like take a look on Tupac Shakur's music, he declared that the dictionary definition of a "thug" as bein' a rogue or criminal was not how he used the term, but rather he meant someone who came from oppressive or squalid background & little opportunity but still made a life for themselves & were proud...

The only true artists that gave true meaning of the rap industry are very few & can be named easily: Tupac, The Notorious B.I.G, Nate Dogg, Nas,Dr.Dre, Mobb Deep, Eminem, Snoop Dogg.

Rap is very boring , only few rare songs are good .the rest SUCK
2pac stands out between all other rappers , cz most of his songs are about real stuff tht happens with us , but abt the music , forget it .
RUN DMC are somehow great , cz they shake their music a little bit , unlike other rappers , keeps talkin to the same beat over n over again .
thats why ROCK stands out , its all about lyrics , music and vocals .

I'm sorry i'm the last one who should be posting in this thread but i just have to say that both can be crappy...it's been a long LONG time since i listened to any of the 2 but i do remember crappy meaningless rock or metal songs

LOL, listen to the music for f*ck sake !!
The solo in that song is godly to say the least. Their music is kind of "mechanical" though not very lively but that solo is awesome and the song has cool riffs. That's one thing, second thing is that the lyrics are well written. THAT IS DEATH METAL. You can't play death metal and talk about how awesomely pink your panties are and how depressed and sad you are for breaking up with your girlfriend 10 years ago.

Note: again The solo is amazing. it is Orgasmic to the ears and sends a shiver down my spine.
Note 2: Necrophagist are Metal and not rock ( which is mostly crap )
