Hull City have had a bid, believed to be in the region of £6million, accepted for Manchester United striker Fraizer Campbell.
The Tigers appear to have won the race to sign the 21-year-old, who spent last season on loan at Tottenham Hotspur. A brief statement on the Tigers' official website read: "Following reports in the media this weekend, the club can confirm that it has had an offer accepted by Manchester United for striker Fraizer Campbell. "Consequently, the club has been given permission to open talks with Campbell." The England Under-21 international enjoyed a successful 2007-08 season on loan at the KC Stadium, finding the net 15 times in 37 appearances as Phil Brown's side won promotion to the Premier League. However, City were unable to agree a deal to sign the striker again last summer, so he moved to White Hart Lane on loan as part of the move that saw Dimitar Berbatov go to Old Trafford. Sunderland, Stoke City and Fulham were also believed to be keeping tabs on Campbell. |

The agent of Manchester United centre-back Nemanja Vidic has dismissed rumours linking his client with a big-money move to Barcelona.
The 27-year-old Serbia international still has another three years of his Red Devils contract to run and agent Paolo Fabbri says that Vidic is content at Old Trafford. He told Setanta Sports: "Nemanja Vidic will stay in Manchester. I don't think we will have any surprises in the short term. We are not planning to move. "Last week we were at Manchester United to speak with David Gill for other reasons, but we also spoke about Vidic. "Vidic is supposed to stay there. A move is not possible unless some Arab makes a crazy offer. in a normal situation, he will stay there. "Barcelona and many other teams can be interested in Vidic - that is another story. Three or four Italian teams would be pleased to have the player. "But he is under contract. His deal has been already extended until 2012." |

OFFICIAL: Kaka Signs For Real Madrid
Brazilian international Kaka has finally made the switch from AC Milan to Real Madrid. The Spanish media have been claiming the deal, worth approximately €65 million, had been as good as done for some time, but it has now finally been confirmed by Real Madrid and AC Milan. Real Madrid's statement read: "Ricardo Izecson dos Santos Leite, Kaka, is a Real Madrid player after an agreement was reached with AC Milan. The Brazilian footballer has now successfully passed all medical tests. Kaka has signed a contract with Real Madrid for the next six seasons." Meanwhile, AC Milan's statement read: "From next season, Kaka will play at Real Madrid. Milan thank Kaka the man and the great champion for his decisive contribution to the many victories over the last six years. "It will be very difficult to fill the void that Kaka will leave, as he is a shining example of commitment and professionalism. A. C. Milan, on behalf of the Rossoneri managers, players and supporters, send him the most cordial and affectionate wishes for the continuation of his sporting career." The Move Los Blancos gave Kaka a medical today, flying a doctor out to meet the former Sao Paulo man while he was on international duty with Brazil. The deal was made official after the 27-year-old spoke with Milan president Silvio Berlusconi over the telephone, although Milan officials have been reluctantly admitting over the past few days that there was the possibility their player could leave the San Siro. Kaka joined Milan in 2003, winning the Ballon d'Or during his time with the club and played a starring role in the 2004 Scudetto and 2007 Champions League triumphs. Newly elected Real Madrid president Florentino Perez promised to bring in big names after taking over, in order to restore the club to it's former glory after their inability to challenge for Europe's top prize in recent seasons. It appears that Kaka was the first name on his list. |

Robinho cools Barca talk
Brazil international Robinho insists he is happy at Manchester City despite new rumours suggesting he could be heading to Barcelona this summer. The 25-year-old moved to Eastlands from Real Madrid in a shock £32.5million deal almost ten months ago and scored 15 times in 41 appearances for Mark Hughes' side last term. However, rumours persist about Robinho's future, particularly as City will not be playing in Europe next season. He was quoted in Sport as saying: "So far, there has only been speculation. "There is nothing concrete and I haven't received any offers. "The only thing I can say is that Barcelona are a great team and everybody would love to play for them. "I left Real Madrid because I was not happy. I do not regret the decision and I'm comfortable at Manchester City." |
