Inspired by mr_j in Threads Proposal.

Basically long story short, should married women take their husbands' name? what would be ur response if your wife asked u to give ur kids her last name? and WHY?

I wanna add somethin', why giving a child your last name if u are not married for e.g: should the kids follow and carry the parent last name of the one who raised them in case the other parent is not around: divorced, left and never came back, etc... ??

And what about religion?? if both parents come from different religion, do u think the child has the right to choose whose religion to follow based on the person who raised him or what?

Well Just
I have a very controversial opinion in this matter, I think that the wife should keep both names: her maiden last name and her husband's last name. It shows what she was before marriage and what she has become.
In the case of children I think they should agree on this before marriage, because this could cause problems.
In the case of intereligious marriages I suggest that the parents teeach the child about both religions and let him choose.

I'll say NO, I don't have a logical reason... but it's like a nature law

I think the child when he grows up should choose whose religion to follow

it's not a natural law, it's a man's law. men made these laws, women in the governments and in legistlations did not even have 15 % of the votes on the matter

women are the ones who bare the children for 9 month, and they don't even have the right to give their names to one child

I am not saying that you should insist on giving her last name to a kid, but I am saying if she asks you, if she wants to, walaw, you won't even give her that right?

I don't care about religion, my children can go back to worshiping the sun for all I care, as long as they respect the law and they are honest caring loving unselfish people just like their father

At the birth, if the parents are married the kid should have his fathers last name,
But in case of single mom he should take his mothers last name,

But when the kid is 18 years old he should be given the choice to have the power to choose between, whether take his father's last name or mother's last name.

same thing applied for religion + he can choose a religion different that his/her parents

One More thing, I dont care about the whole issue, chou ma tetla3 3ayelto tetla3 lmhem ma yetla3 ouwet
