i thought u were a consoler ...anywy.
not long ago I bought a PC with a Quad core (intel) ...
#1: If u want a CPU on the long run go for intel. AMD CPUs are good but have a shorter life-span with respect to intel CPUs.
If u're an internet user (simple computing that is) u can go for AMD (u wont benefit from intel) ... but if u're a multi-tasker (heavy user) go for intel

#2: I have no experience in Gigabyte mobo's so i cant help you ...but if u can get ur hands on an MSI mobo ... bonsa7ak fiya ...#1 motherboards (5ibrit 6 years)

#3: can I know what's the cost of that GPU u're getting ...

forget about pc #2
Pc #1 :
1-get an asus mobo instead of gigabyte
2-forget about quadcore Q8200 , either get a core 2 duo E8400 3.0 ghz cashe or quad core Q9550 , Q8200 is only 2.33 single or double core applications would be slower
3-make sure the rams are DDR2-800 or try to get DDR2-1033
4-if you can get an lg dvd -writer , that should be better.

i can say that these two pcs will perform very close to each other when it comes to gaming, but i prefer PC1 with the gtx 260 that has 896MB of ram which are becoming useful with new games.
