there is a thingy called magic jack , its a piece that you buy from the usa for 30$ , you can call unlimited for free for a full year , you just stick it in the comptuer and stick the phone to it .

It's the same as VOIP, you will be using an America or Canadian phone number as if you were in Canada, and since phone calls inside Canada or U.S are free, you won't be charged.
However, i heard it's 20$/month subscription, a colleague at work used to use it to call his GF in the U.S :P

yes of course i have two accounts here bcz i talk to much to europ and usa and u have only 300min/week for free for this countries and the are another one its cheap too www.actionvoip.com by the way u can only open an account with 10€ at the beginning.

1$=1,43€ i know but it will stay the cheapest.

I just checked, VOIPstunt gives you 4 months of free calls for the top countries and when it expires you start paying 1 cent/minute.

approximatively 1cent= 2minutes??

and another question did someone tried the phone-to-phone feature? if yes you'll be charged on both sides?

I didn't really get your question,
$0.426 is 42 cents which is a high rate.
