Sayyed Ali Khamenei for example says that you need to actually see the moon...bas to be detailed he says that certain technology may be used to determine when it will be a full moon. Astrological predictions may be wrong and the actual proof can only be determined by sight (while using those technologies). hay 1 2- Sayyed Ali sistani says that you also need to see the moon with your very eye... and that is because every location on earth may see the moon from a different angle and that goes back to the fraction of light that is refracted on that very same location, that changes with countries that have large masses of water bordering them or if you're in a continental country. which is why 2 different locations in the world may not see a full moon on the same night. Ya3ne lebanon and mongolia may not see the moon on the same night. 3- Sayyed Mohamad Hussein says that if a certain location in the world that if you're in honolulu for example ( 7 time zone difference), and there is a full moon then it can be announced that it is actually a full moon or that the full moon will appear in lebanon. Which is why his calculations and NASA's are ALMOST always the same. Since we're in different time zones and locations and all so sometimes different results may occur. Your nasa calculations are meaningless when used to disprove other maraje3 since each time zone or area on earth may see the full moon and the other may not. It has to do with each area w its particularities. Men ekhera: tla3oule menna la 2osset : l sayyed m7ammad hussein deyman ma3o 7a2...to each his own opinion and they can all be right on their own accord because they use different scientific methods of determining when the moon will appear. THAT'S WHY YOU FOLLOW THE MARJA3 WHICH YOU ARE CONVINCED IS THE MOST KNOWLEDGEABLE ![]() Final note to Marx: Get the facts straight 3an l maraje3 before you start talking w 7aj tbal3it bel 7ake.

They know they're not living in the stone age and they know what knowledge and technology to make use of. P.S: i'm not saying that Sayyed Mohammad Hussein is wrong.... but i just wanted to prove a point here.

LOL dude it has no 0.25 day error, the sun takes 365.25 days to make a complete rotation about the sun - this is a scientific fact.
It is logical that people made the year 365 days, because if the year was 365 days sharp, at the completion of the the 365 days, u will have 4 hours. what will u do with those :P ? u can't neglect them cuz they'll change the time when sun rises and when it sets and when seasons start, etc. so the best idea was to make the year 365 days and make a "leap year" that comes after four normal years having 366 days to compensate the missing 0.25 days from each year. you are not stable :P
