Three Katyusha rockets struck open fields near Nahariya on Friday. There have been no reports of casualties.

The rockets were fired from southern Lebanon and Israel Radio has reported that the Israel Defense Forces have launched retaliatory artillery into southern Lebanon.

The IDF spokesperson said Friday that Israel "views these incidents as very severe, and we hold the government of Lebanon responsible."

A resident of a northern Kibbutz told Haaretz of the rockets "it was very surprising. We suddenly heard a boom. We are very happy no one was hurt."

The resident said that no one on the Kibbutz heard any sort of warning siren before the rockets struck.

Channel 10 reported that an electric tower was struck by one of the rockets.

عن مصادر أمنية أن قوات الطوارئ الدولية "يونيفيل" تبلغت من اسرائيل وقف قصفها للأراضي اللبنانية.
وتقوم "اليونيفيل" بنشر وحدات في منطقة إطلاق الصواريخ كما أنها فتحت تحقيقا بالحادث.
وطلبت اليونيفيل من "الطرفين" التزام ضبط النفس والتقيد بقرار وقف العمليات الحربية، بحسب ما ذكر تلفزيون "أخبار المستقبل".

لفتت الناطقة بإسم القوات الدولية العاملة في جنوب لبنان (يونيفيل) ياسمينا بوزيان أن القوات الدولية والجيس اللبناني أنزلا قوات إضافية
على الأرض في منطقة إطلاق الصواريخ لتفادي تدهور الأوضاع سوءا في الجنوب.
وأكدت أن قوات الـ"يونيفيل" تقوم بإجراء اتصالات سريعة مع الجانبية اللبناني والاسرائيلي لتفادي تصاعد الأزمة.
وأشارت بوزيان الى أن الوضع حتى اللحظة ما زال تحت السيطرة.

قدّم الجيش الاسرائيلي شكوى رسمية الى قوة الأمم المتحدة الموقتة في لبنان ردا على اطلاق صواريخ على شمال اسرائيل. وذكرت وسائل الاعلام الاسرائيلية أن من المتوقّع أن يصل ممثلون عن اليونيفيل الى المنطقة المستهدفة وتنضم للتحقيق في الحادث.
وحمّل الجيش الاسرائيلي في شكواه الحكومة اللبنانية مسؤوليّة ما حصل مشيرًا الى أنه "بقدر ما يعنينا الأمر، فإن الحكومة اللبنانية هي المسؤولة عن منع اي اطلاق نار من اراضيها باتجاه إسرائيل".

So the smart Israelis bombarded everything and everywhere except the things and the place that were used to launch the rockets !? of course they won't.. they may kill their spies who launched these rockets in that way.
