For those who want to keep the old version,
exit completely from msn. go to program files/msn messenger (or windows live) folder. check for msnmsger.exe, right click-properties-comparibility. choose windows 2000. apply the changes, then run msn again. As for the polygamy of msn 14, just download messenger plus http://www.msgplus.net/download/ |

so i installed 14.0 , and when it signs in it gives me , windows live communication platform has encountred a problem and needs to close. send dont send thingy!

guys if you use an old version it will give you sooner or later an error and a request of update, so you better install the latest version
