Do you think that " 'Till death do us part " doesn't have any meaning nowadays??

Eno bhal iyem, whenever any problem occur with a man & a woman, they get divorced...

i never understood, till death do us part, does it mean u won't be with ur loved one when u're both in heaven ?

and you are assuming in the old days things were better because divorce was not common?
a man could beat his wife, force her to stay home and work all day, not give her money, rape her(it is still rape even if they are married if she is not ok with it) and she kept her mouth shut la2an 3eyb

and I believe freedome is never a bad thing, people don't have to spend a miserable 50 years together because at a given moment they said we want to be married. and the presence of divorce might be a good motive for the couple to make sure that the other person is happy

edit: and mich whenever a problem occur they get divorced. enno it's not magic or that simple, there are lawyers and money to spend and a long process involved ... I think bas for some reason or reasons people go through that, I think whoever goes through the trouble of getting a divorce and nullifiying a marriage and endign a relationship with someone they thought they wanted to spend their life with must have a good enough reason for him

it could be that they were never serious about it in the first place
divorce has a good side and a bad side
good side that you can walk out if things are ugly
bad side that marriage has less meaning now

Some people are meant to be together and some are not. When it comes to marriage, i think people get marry for the wrong causes: the need of money, sympathy, popularity, grab about the position the husband/wife is in & use it, or they are even married by force and etc... Love can sometimes be a wrong cause, you love someone that you don't know EVERYTHING about or just met recently and then, you start to discover some bad habits in that other person. Another reason why people get married for the wrong reason is not to end up ALONE, they fear loneliess.

what is a right reason? love? what you listed are bad reasons of course, but I want to say just marriying o nthe basis of love is just as bad

I will get married because I want children, and I will marry someone that I can understand and she can understand me, she has to be educated preferably has a job and has a good sense of humor. yes it is so I don't end up alont in a way, isn't that everyone's reason? if it is for love, we could have been single all our lives and we could have affairs with whoever we happen to fall in love with that day

love is stupid, it's not a reason, I often fall in love with a totaly illogical choice, sometimes I fall in love and it is not mutual, love is not to be taken as a basis to anything

and you say they are not meant to be with each other, as if every person has one other specific person that he is meant to be with . there are lists of given reasons that can ruin a marriageexample: jealousy, being controling, being cheap, cheating, yelling physical abuse and drug and alcohol abuse and lack of money sometimes being completly different(uneducated or different religion or something)

nobody is "meant" to end up with a jealous husband or wife, no one is meant to end up with a cheapskate or a liar, the question is how much can you take
some people can keep their mouth shut about it others cannot

tayeb but this is an exception, not a general case
you might know a couple of people who did it bas it's not always happening

I think the opposite ... this sentence has a lot of meaning these days
actually it's being practiced quite often as well :P
in USA:
3% of the male victims per year are murdered by wives/gfs
and 30% of the female victims per year are murdered by husbands/bfs
