btw since you guys mentioned the financial thing, if you want to use HD consoles like X360 and PS3 you need decent HD tvs, after the search a decent and very nice TV (samsung) will cost ya 1230$ in lebanon and the console 600$ so this will even it up with the PC.

ANOTHER THING,
have you ever wondered how much a fried Xbox power supply will cost ya? it's 300$ in lebanon , while the PC is 50$ (the normal one and 200$ for gaming ones)

if your PC motherboard get toasted you buy another for max 200$ but if your consoles mainboard got fried the only place that will fit it is the garbage bin

a keyboard got cracked? then ew one is for 12$, a controller got cracked? 60$

more to come bass as i said that there are some games that prevail on consoles but some on pc rules

first of all an HD tv doesnt cost 1300$ a V serie 32 inch Sony a gr8 tv for 800$ thats 1400$ console included

also what r u talking about ? xbox 360 ? mainboard ?

ok i got a ps3 i dont have any problem , u talkin about accidents.

and if the xbox 360 got a failure rate, well the console started since Atari till now , so can u give me the % of failure rate of the 360 in all the console generations ?

if u wanna compare u should first choose what range to compare in

cuz a good Logitec controller for PC costs 50$ at least

a good keyboard will cost u 100$ logitec.

so dont compare a console controller to a FARASOO controller

and btw u can get controllers for ps3 for 40$ not the one that Sony is producing

man, first of all mni7 yelli beyyanet ta n2ellak na3iman la bayern ,
second of all living in lebanon puts the console to high levels to risk, bass i am not saying that pc is better than consoles dont get me wrong, ma el deneh zawk, bass i really insist that some games sucks big time on consoles and vise versa on PC that's all, the only advantage that pc have is verstility that's my final post here in this thread.

p.s. FARASSOO is not a bad brand, it;s very good been using the same farass00 keyboard for over 3 years lawno 7all w sar wei2e3 3leh may w i use it for online game playing ye3neh almost every key is assigned to do something and i use them all and it's a heavy duty keyboard 7aram nezlemo , plus a logitech joystick for ps3 costs alot also

Like M|ch said, you are comparing ports, ports are games that are made originally on the weakest platform which means that they're most likely to run best at that platform.

Show me a PC game with graphics as good as Killzone 2 or MGS4, both which are PS3 exclusives. There are only two that I can think of that can get close, and they are Crysis and FarCry 2, and as I recall they were criticized for their poor gameplay.

And remember that a PC that can run these games at maximum settings is a high-end that only a fraction of PC gamers have.

And just a question, do you own a console? Because if you don't your arguments kind of fall flat. I've rarely meet someone who both owns a high-end PC and a current-gen console who thinks that PC's are better for gaming.

One of the simple reasons why I prefer PCs over Consoles is because, I'm more comfortable using a Keyboard than a Joystick.
But now with the new Pace Control I think I'm gonna have to change my mind

Another reason is, PC parts are replaceable, you can upgrade your Graphic Card, RAMs and others. And if one part is broken, you can easily identify it and change it.
Consoles needs professional people to fix their parts.

PS3 uses a 7800 series GPU, or something close to that technology. this technology is obsolete. they can't run DX10 graphics. thus, nothing compares to PC graphics. MW2 was the latest example.
btw, i just saw two screenshots from KZ2, i wonder what the graphics would look like if they were on PC

And that is just fine, some people prefer the K/M others the gamepad.

That is generally seen as something negative. The console has standard hardware which the developer must adapt their games to. While in the case of the PC, it's you who has to keep upgrading your hardware in order to play your games at maximum settings. This is seen as one of the biggest cons of PC gaming.

All you have to do is send it to Sony or Microsoft and they'll send you a new one.
