I Made the same specs @ HP for 1333$
but still my question is, SHOULD I UPGRADE TO Core i7 820? i did upgrade to 1333 MHZ Ram

Nop its not worth it , it would increase the performance more than 15% , haida if you even used the 720 fully , i dont think youd use all of its performance at all!

1230$ in lebanon or online?
whereever it is, this is ****ing cheap.i'm not so sure about your applications, whether they will demand more GPU or CPU power, however, 400$ is a lot for a CPU upgrade

yeah stick to the 720QM, way faster than core 2 ... so you're not short of performance.
