عند الساعة 6:50 انطلق ماراثون 42 كلم لفئة الكراسي المتحركة وأعطت الفنانة هيفاء وهبي إشارة الانطلاق للسباق.
كما انطلق عند الساعة 7 سباق المارثون العادي لمسافة 42 كلم. كما بشارك في الماراثون اليوم رئيس الجمهورية ميشال سليمان، رئيس الحكومة سعد الحريري، النائبان آلان عون ونديم الجميل، وزير الداخلية زياد بارود، والأميرة الأردنية غيدا طلال
