بعد ستة أعوام من البناء أصبح برج دبي بالامارات العربية المتحدة جاهزا للافتتاح الكبير يوم الاثنين ليصبح أعلى ناطحة سحاب في العالم وليحطم كل الارقام القياسية.

يبلغ ارتفاع البرج 818 مترا وبه 160 طابقا.

واعتبارا من الطابق 124 يمكن للشخص أن يرى لمسافة 50 ميلا في يوم صحو.

ويقول مهندسو تصميم البرج ان الهواء سيكون أكثر برودة بشكل ملحوظ في ردهات البرج مقارنة بمعدلات الحرارة والرطوبة عند الارض في صيف دبي.

ويمكن لزائر البرج ان يصل الى قمته في نحو دقيقتين باستخدام أسرع المصاعد في العالم التي تنطلق بسرعة 40 كيلومترا في الساعة.

والبرج من الخارج مكون من الزجاج والصلب الذي يمكن أن يغطي 17 ملعب كرة قدم. ويحتاج الى مابين ستة وثمانية أسابيع لتنظيفه.

والخرسانة المستخدمة في بناء البرج تكفي لبناء رصيف بطول 1283 ميلا أما قضبان واسياخ الصلب المستخدمة في حمل بنيان البرج فتكفي للامتداد نحو ربع مساحة الكرة الارضية. وينتج نظام التبريد في البرج مياه تكفي لملء 20 حمام سباحة أولمبيا سنويا ستستخدم في ري الحدائق.

وقالت الشرطة انه سيتم اغلاق المنطقة المحيطة بالبرج أمام حركة السيارات يوم الاثنين وسيتم تعزيز اجراءات الامن.

did anyone watche the opening ceramony ? it was HELL ON FIRE!!!
