Why can't we make peace with them??? Egyptians aren't better we should think a little bit from economical point of view south Lebanon is a beautiful place and has a lot of potentials it can be better than downtown but the problem is how to reach it….and what are the expenses….if it included the Resettlement of Palestinians then the losses on Lebanon will be much worse than any gain that produces from peace making….we shouldn’t talk about them being whatever we think they are humans are humans…..what differs that their politicians care a lot more what people wants than our politicians. Or at least that’s my opinion.

With all due respect to your opinion but money isn't everything. Had you read the thread you would have seen why we said we can't make peace with them, be that from the fact that the egyptians are now reduced to Israeli puppets who can do nothing but say yes and go along with everything the Israelis want to do in the region, or from the fact that we will not give away our dignity for the sake of financial prosperity.

If you're going to reply by saying: Why would our dignity be jeopardized? I would simply tell you that should a peace agreement take place and Hezbollah be disarmed, then what power would lebanon hold over Israel to say refuse to any of decisions it would take or any interference it might have in our country??

Yes you have to hand it to them, they care about their people. But the remarkable thing is that Lebanese do not even care about each other. While people have given their lives away fighting the Israelis away from their homes and refuse to submit, and while these people have lost family in Israeli others are calling out and screaming for peace from fear that the bo3bo3 will come, instead of calling out for support and getting ready to fight the invader should he come to their doorstep.

This does not apply to everyone of course. There are many who would rather die fighting than have peace with Israelis.

Because "Israel" is an occupier and doesn't exist on the map.
If the western countries and many other collaborators are considering "Israel" a country due to a big conspiracy against Palestine and the Palestinian people, WE as Lebanese before being related and affected by this conflict and before discussing anything else. from a moral point of view shouldn't participate in this conspiracy as long as the Palestinian people didn't accept the fact of giving "Israel" a part of their land.
Even if we supposed that parts of our land aren't occupied by "Israel" and even if we supposed that we don't have more than 500.000 Palestinian refugees living in our country, we as a country and a people who believe in Human Rights shouldn't even consider "Israel" a country. kif laken if we are directly affected by the Israeli occupation and parts of our lands are occupied by this common enemy, and more than 500.000 Palestinian refugees are living in our land?

Well if the Egyptian regime became a collaborator and agreed on participating in this conspiracy against the Palestinian people thinking that one day "Israel" will join Gazza to Egypt and put it under the Egyptian authority, same thing goes if the Jordanian regime agreed on participating in this conspiracy thinking that one day "Israel" will join the West Bank to Jordan and put it under the Jordanian authority, if these regimes agreed on selling the Right of a whole people for personal benefits, if these regimes are puppets in the hands of "Israel", I DON'T THINK THAT WE AS LEBANESE PEOPLE SHOULD DO THE SAME!!!! If we think from an economical point of view, Lebanon is the first to lose if a peace agreement was signed with Israel.
In addition to the political loss which is giving "Israel" a certain legitimacy, economical loss will be much bigger: "Israeli" products and industries in addition to agricultural products will invade the Lebanese market and end up what remained of our local products mainly agricultural.

Not South Lebanon or not any part of Lebanon is a big CASINO where rich junk Arabs come to have fun and sleep with our girls, this is not Lebanon we want, Lebanon won't be a Casino or a Night Club, Lebanon is the land of God and prophets, the land of culture and great minds, Lebanon is not "Las Vegas" and won't turn into one, even if Geagea and Hariri are dreaming of.

If we want a strong country we shouldn't be slaves to X or Y and sign peace agreements with criminals just because of what's called tourism, tourism won't get us anything new more than it is getting us right now.
Our Resistance is our Dignity, we are stronger than Israel in everything even military, and July war 2006 proved it. why should we offer them our arms and our participation in this world wide conspiracy?

As long as "Israel" exists, as long as one freedom fighter is still standing on this land, Lebanon will not offer Israel except resistance fight and fire till the last rocket and bullet.

Having a strong and a rich country doesn't depend on signing a peace agreement or transforming every corner in Lebanon into a down town!!
Transforming our country into a Casino and selling our principles is the easiest way to destroy our community and culture even if it gave us a lot of money.

But building a real country starts first by having self respect and refusing to kneel for any oppressor!! but rather fighting him till victory.
Building a real country starts by forgetting our stupid ideas of sectarianism and the silly search for our origins(Phoenicians or Arabs), it starts by believing in our only Lebanese identity and investing our great minds in Industry/Commerce in order to build a strong Economy, not by opening Bars and Night Clubs for stupid Arabs and future "Israeli" tourists!!

I guess nothing short of the total annihilation of 3ezrail will satisfy you. I understand your position on this issue, even if I don't share it. This is because I neither have enough hatred powder to sustain such a consuming dream but mostly because I don't care. Had I had your life experiences and conditions I might however, and if you had mine you'd probably be writing this now, instead of me.

Realistically speaking, Israel can be eventually annihilated. You can chose to do it in several ways and according to different schedules.

The quickest and most effective method is of course to grab some megatons of nuclear explosives and drop them right over their israeli skulls. Puff and finito. However, there's a chance some cursed winds and clouds might flip against you bringing towards your direction showers of radioactive rains thus rendering your southern agricultural lands deadly castrated for decades.

Another method is to rely on an uninterrupted supply of people ready to martyr for the "annihilation of the enemy" cause, and who most likely will be equipped with less efficient weapons than the enemy who also outnumbers them. Those people will have the uncertain time span in a timeless future to try to battle the israelis through, until the israelis are finished off. The concept of Eternity ceases to exist here, as sorrows and celebrations over death and life will be filling us busy on a day by day basis.

Yet another method is Peace. Making peace with a Dracula, who feeds on own and others blood, is also a most efficient way to annihilate that undead count. Similarly, Israel lives and prospers on the heartbreaking legend of the victimization of its people through history. Its whole society rests on the concept of being a chosen but akh so persecuted people. Huge parts of its economy relies on its military industry, their insurance ticket against a cruel universe surrounding them in all directions. A major part of the direct financial and economic aid packages they regularly receive emanates from their lobbying activities inside the donnars countries, claiming they are still economically suffocated by their hostile neighbors.

Give Israel a peace treaty on paper, while we're still unconquered, and watch Israel wither within two generations at the most. Peace, that might include a mutual agreement for economical exchange but which you and your people in reality will never acknowledge, will gradually bring down their economy to a halt. Foreign aid packages will dry up and finally will cease to come as war conditions are no more. Israeli citizens will lose jobs opportunities, now well entertained in different military industries and projects. The demography will start working against them as Palestinian working power will flood over their working markets. Their competing Hoummous companies will have to hire lebanese Hoummous experts and consultants in order for them to sell their products to Cyprus and Denmark. With no wars to milk blood from, Dracula will eventually pack and leave.

Ironically, only the prospect of an Iranian nuclear bomb verified to be ready to launch, may well bring that much rejected peace, both to them and you. Tell me moqawem, if Iran and Israel finally one day announce their peace intentions, what other options than follow suite will you have?
