I clearly mentioned it as an example just like i stated the U.S as an example.
My only point was that FPM alone with no alliances could not have gotten where it is today. I did not ignore the fact that FPM has principles or that FPMers are willing to die for those principles.
I was criticizing the "ta3assob" i saw from your side when you claimed that FPM can do it without anyone.

My reply was to clarify that FPM would naturally have to ally itself with a certain side...NOT BECAUSE OF INTERESTS, but because one of those sides would be more in tune with FPM's principles, WHICH is why FPM allied itself with HA...because of that very same principle.

Actually the difference between the votes that FPM got in 2005 and 2009 was due to petrodollars money and bringing the Lebanese from abroad in order to vote for the loyalists.

Hegma and RAM BOY constantly argued by saying FPM did not need their allies ( yes yes you love them). What i said was simply to show that an FPM without any allies on the lebanese street would not have made it as big since they would still be up against the petrodollars, not to mention running an election without any allies.

The C&R bloc won 27 seats all over Lebanon, specifically in the Christian regions due to its strength, and yes because we had powerful allies who are partners in this victory.

Now saying that we need HA and HA needs us is also stupid.
Hezbollah doesn't need anyone in Lebanon, they can stand all alone and they are the most powerful to do it.
FPM doesn't need anyone in Lebanon neither, they were alone for 15 years and they stood up against the whole world.
But how would the country looks like if this MoU haven't existed?
try to imagine a 2006 war without this MoU, or a 7 May 2008...
This MoU was made because it's a necessity between two patriotic major parties in Lebanon.

GMA is the head of C&R bloc even if not all the deputies are FPMers. and when we say GMA alone got half what all the others majmou3in were able to get, it means GMA as the head of C&R bloc.
FPM is the major force in the Christian street, they didn't invite anyone to join them, but others declared their loyalty to General Aoun when he came back, and of course houwwe mesh rabeton (his allies in C&R bloc).
