Petition against Facebook and their Irrational - Injustice procedure for Disabled accounts

With 300 million users the rights of each user are crushed. Privacy is major issue but the only concern

The ears of Facebook are not open. With this petition we hope to make our voice stronger and demand to be treated as humans and not as record entry to their database

Lately we notice large groups of Facebook users to have their accounts suspended.

Most of them have no idea why, how and what caused this ban

The suspension of the accounts are instant, without prior warnings/emails and at the 95% of the cases without any chance to get their account back

Check the queries burst in Google Insights for “facebook disabled”

Notice carefully the chart. The queries are not equal with Facebook growth, they have a huge increase and 2010 create new negative record

We do understand that Facebook is a company and not a government sector and they have the right to act as they want but their growth and the role they play each day in worldwide communications must make them think that their actions do have serious effects for their users.

If this petition will not be read from the managers in Facebook and nothing will happen in the near future, at least will be a live proof that they don’t care for their users and their don’t have any kind of respect for them.

Some users may never heard it before and assume that if “Facebook” ban you then you did something really bad. This is not the case. The scripts that Facebook use ban accounts automatically, it’s impossible to have a set of human eyes for each case.

However the rules Facebook follows are highly injustice
If for ANY reason Facebook thinks a user misbehaves or use their system improperly must first warn him in written during the next account login together with a warning email.

If the user can’t comply with FB suggestions the account must be paused for a specific set of days and open again as before. If after all these steps the SAME thing happens then the account must be paused for 6 months or 1 year.

With the current system, Facebook seize all the data, photos, business and personal information and literally ruin your business or personal life. You can’t see the red line because there is none. It is drawn on a case per case scenario and the reasons are different every time. The fact that they DO have Terms and Conditions is not an excuse to ban without discrimination every user that crosses the imaginary line.

Some may say, OK they got 300 millions why they should care for these cases?
They should if they do believe they offer something positive to the world and not act like Caesar with “live” and “die” gestures

People are so desperate from their account suspension that they don’t care to surrender their privacy to the public only to get their account back online.

Do you think this is this a sign of a healthy system?

With this system Facebook applause real abusers.
Why someone that has a legit use of Facebook ask for account reactivation when he can change IP,email and create a new profile and start over?

Is this the way Facebook shows to normal users or users not familiar with technology?

Do they shoot you without remorse and never say at least \\\\\\\"freeze\\\\\\\" ?

We don’t ask from Facebook to surrender their system to abusers
We seek to restrain their script watchdogs and understand that they don’t work as they should.

We try to make them understand that they intentionally create a plague for their business

We try to make them understand that they create “have to” and not “like to” users

With this petition we ask :

1. To re-ENABLE all users that sign this petition

2. To be treated as humans and be able to learn their system if they guide us properly

3. To activate a better and more productive abuse protection system for them and us

4. Not to force people to pass a humiliating process where they must beg them through the appeal (disabled@facebook.com) procedure when there are much better methods for this

5. To learn the Facebook executives and his owner that the power of Facebook is their users and not their software

they don't have any moral obligations towards you, simply because it is a free service, they are not taking your money, and it is not something you need to survive

first of all , pictures of 4 years are there , when my hd broke down last year they were all gone , theyr still on fb

and yes they have an obligation towards me , they cant go disabling account for no reason , when someone crosses their imaginary line he gets disabled.

it is ILLEGAL to manipulate accounts of people on your website and that includes disabling their accounts , it doesn't matter if its a free service or not

We are , the users who made facebook , not them.

If you broke the terms which they had laid, then they have the right to disable the account.

If you want the pictures, try asking them if they could temporarily allow you to access the account. Worth a shot.
