the problem in Lebanon is the society, it is too materialistic. they put a lot of emphasis on what car you drive and how big your house is, and traditionally every family must have at least 3 kids on average regardless of how poor or average they are just because "heyk derej"

in advanced societies they have 1 or 2 kids max, each child costs more than a hundred thousand dollars just to reach the age of 18, ba3ed ma fawwato 3al jem3a w ba3ed ma emto 3an dahrak, people don't think about that much.
most of the students in our universities are doctors and engineers kamen because heyk derej, you'd think that our life expectancy in our country and our roads and buildings would be heavenly because of that, but no, our life expectancy is less than 70 and our city planning is shitty, our students, teenagers, and adults are miserable because they are living their lives according to the frame that their relatives and parents set to them ("to2borné baddak tsir 7akaym

" ) and because they buy stuff that they don't want or need just to try and impress/make others envious.
I learned the hard way that trying to please people gets you nowhere.
