I don't think they will rely on Khedira, Loew will change the plans. Maybe Schweinsteiger will be the playmaker, Lahm can play on the right side,with Arne Friedrich on the left, or Mesut Ozil will play behind Schweinsteiger.

Also expect that Kiessling will play along with podolski who can assist in the midfield.

And as you said, frings won't be called, although he had a good season with werder bremen, but he can't replace ballack.

Mesut Ozil is a CAM and will never play behind shweinsteiger who is an RCM/RM.

yeah but Shweini is already a starter next to Ballack. If he will take his place, it means the whole tactics/formation will change.

I still think Frings is the best solution. Frings this season=Ballack this season.
I always liked Frings and still think is capable plus he is as old as Ballack so saying Frings is old means nothing as long as he still delivers.
