we know that dreams are random images generated by the brain, we know it's all the result of chemical reactions that occur there, scientists never reported any signs of outside interference to dreams...

what we must never do is we must never invent an answer and believe it, people were always mistaken when it came to making up answers without a clean proof

Actually scientists still know very very few about the brain and dreams.
